The first question is to define Article Marketing and how it can be useful to your Home MLM Business.

There are many advantages that come along with article marketing. They include including customer loyalty, increased interest, repeat viewers and more, not to mention and it doesn’t cost anything to create and publish an online article of any length.

Article Marketing comprises of writing articles that are high quality. These articles should target your business and therefore you should ensure that these articles give you a stage to write different, excellent subject where you can insert a couple of backlinks to your website, for each article. Even more sweet, is people who have a higher interest in your market will access these backlinks; a more targeted audience with a greater potential for sales. How is this possible? They are looking for answers, they find them in your articles and they click on your backlinks, thereby increasing your chances of expanding your client base and securing more sales.

The significance of Article Marketing is overwhelming and I know it might seem frightening. Allow me to ease your anxiety especially if this is your first time in Article Marketing. Article Marketing needn’t be difficult and for its tremendous potential value to your business, it is certainly worth the effort. It is possibly the best tool to date that will increase your website traffic, attract customers and build your brand.

Pointers to writing your article

When it comes to generating traffic through SEO together with a money-through-advertisement factor, Squidoo and Hubpages are two of the top notch website creation services according to a couple of people and they are free. There is an endless list of other choices such as Blogger, WordPress and many others. I can’t take a stance on this because it’s just a personal choice of preference for customizing your website as you like it.

Include anchor text into your links. Anchor text can be defined as all the words that can be clicked in a website link for instance the link to Building Your MLM Business with Marketing. The anchor text here is “this link to Building Your MLM Business with Marketing” “the entirety of the blue, clickable link. You want to use keywords when making your linkbacks to up their value and increase their searchability on search engines. Another solid example of anchor text would include an offer the readers to encourage them to click through to your site, such as “Click here to receive a free chapter of XYZ.”

The Art of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

SEO is your #1 priority. Seriously.

Some time back (not long ago) making use of keywords that were unique was what was followed, giving you not many and exact articles. Nowadays, search engines are very smart! They sieve contents on the website that are enriching and offer variety with regards to keywords you use and first-hand articles. This is both good and bad “but mostly good in my opinion, as it puts you in control of how high up on the results page your online content goes while doubling as a medium to show your target audience that you know what you’re talking about. It allows you to build credibility by writing about what you know using powerful keywords that will direct more clients to your optin page.

I will give you a technique. A tool that is heaven-sent. Granted, it’s an old trick, but it’s underused and incredibly valuable to your Article Marketing endeavor. Google’s AdWords.

When writing an articles and you have a particular keyword that you figure is in reference to your article, enter that word into the search field and Google AdWords will show you how often that keyword is searched for. You can play around with this, using synonyms for your original keywords and experiment with what turns up as the most-searched-for keywords that will give you a greater chance of being found by readers and use the keywords with the biggest numbers instead.

Searching your competition pays off

There are many ways in which you can use SEO to your benefit. I would highly recommend using search engines to see where it is your target audience is going for their answers.

Ah, yes. As soon as I mentioned it, it seemed like a pretty good idea, huh?

Use any search engine and look up for what you think your followers are searching for. If you are a candy bar vendor, search for something like “Where can I buy lots of candy bars?” and see where the search engines suggest you go. You see what your target audience sees. Now, how can you put this to use?

By looking this up, you can come up with a record of people you wish to visit your website are heading. Make you guest blog posts on these sites. That’s right, you shouldn’t just create articles for your own blog, but engage others on different sites to show the readers that you know what you’re talking about (and include backlinks to support your opinions). Guest-blogging on other websites that appeal to your target audience is a great way to funnel readers to your own site.

What if I’m low on content?

Whereas rewrites only rewords what you’ve already written, it diminishes the worth of your campaign. It is true, in order to give more backlinks to your grow your list, you can create many articles on similar subject matters. But we are dealing with readers, not random, computer-generated numerical statistics. It is, of course, totally up to you, but I would not sacrifice the quality of my articles and the impact of the value on the reader in the name of having more links.

I am totally for rewriting articles, don’t get me wrong. You shouldn’t rewrite articles in a different light just to provide more content to publish. I merely caution you to be certain that when you do rewrite those articles, or have your writer do this, make the new articles so that the originality and quality are present.

Quality content does the heavy lifting for you

Other bloggers and readers frequently spread the best articles. My point here is others may direct their readers to your article after they have read it themselves. They may use an excerpt from it, or in the case of blogs they might repost the entire article, thereby circulating your name around for you. This is a thing of beauty as it increases more targeted traffic your way (and effortlessly on your part). So make sure you put yourself, your personality and quality of opinion, into all your writing and discover what new opportunities Article Marketing opens up for you

In the red corner we have attraction marketing strategies and in the blue corner we have old school MLM strategies similar to a boxer.

Old school MLM (which can be represented by the blue corner) has been used for a number of years successfully to build some of the biggest firms in network marketing. Big leaders in companies such as Amway, Herbalife and Avon have credited Old School strategies for their incredible success and movie star lifestyle.

In my view, there are people who still use the old school strategies to develop big business in MLM and there will always be.
The question is not which approach out of Old school and New school is better but which one is more duplicatable, or makes more sense to you and which one makes you the most money.

Robert Kiyosaki’s book the “Cashflow Quadrant” tells a short story narrated to him by his ‘rich dad’ explaining the distinction between working hard and working smart.

In the tale two businessmen begin two different trades to supply water to a village. The first trader carries buckets of water constantly to the village. At the same time, the other trader goes away for six months and comes back with a team of people. The second guy then takes a further six months to build a pipeline to take water to the village.

When the construction of the pipeline is complete then distributes better quality water constantly and for three quarters less than his competitor. Of course the second guy did very well, which ties in with the two questions Robert asks himself before considering a new business venture. These questions are responsible for making Kiyosaki rich and wealthy.

The questions are

1) Am I building a pipeline or hauling buckets?

2) Am I working hard or working smart?

If you want to make your existing business better or if you want to join a Network Marketing business, you should ask yourself these sorts of questions.

Here Are Some Examples of Hauling Buckets in Your Network Marketing Business

Sales calls to your leads in your network marketing business.

Pester family and friends, or anyone you come across using the old school term “three foot rule.”

Dropping letters at mail boxes, putting flyers into people’s hands at the neighborhood shopping mall, pitching the check out operators in the supermarket are all old school traditional network marketing techniques.

Let’s be truthful, who wants to do everything? If you’re running your business without employing some sort of system and not using leverage you are definitely hauling buckets!

Due to internet and information age, New School Attraction Marketing MLM (red corner) has come about,
Attraction marketing has given network marketers an alternative way to build their business, using the pipeline system (from Kiyosaki’s story) rather than carrying buckets.

In all fairness to Old School Marketing when we talk about hauling of buckets, there is a refreshing number of MLM professionals who apply other ways of building their business. They use a much more refined method to build their business.

Instead of lying in wait for unsuspecting potential clients at shopping malls and other places, they invite the specific people who have made inquiries either through a friend or whoever to a coffee shop. Or, they have a small group of interested people get together at someone’s home and show them a short video, have a coffee and a few nibbles. This way of building a network marketing business has been around for years, in the form of parties (as Tupperware have done very successfully for many years).

From all the reports, this is enjoyable. It is all very relaxed and no pressure from anyone.

The notion of Attraction Marketing is to provide qualified leads for you to speak with, by giving them information that they have inquired about. By offering an internet marketing system they can follow and also teach to their downline, or a video training course showing them how they can create their own qualified leads.

It is important for them to be able to judge before making any commitment and this is what you do by giving them something of value.

This is totally the reverse to old school method of making an effort to “sell” to anyone within a three foot circle inconsiderate of whether they want it or not.

The new school method does not make you appear as if you are going after prospects, it doesn’t make you appear desperate or doesn’t rob you your power and you don’t lose your posture. These are the other advantages of this strategy

Prior to the internet, there was no chance for potential clients to find out the validity of your company or products. It was not easy for prospects to do a comparison of your company with hundreds of other companies, so they could select the company they felt was best for them.

However, as I mentioned before it’s up to the individual which corner (red or blue) they want to come from. Either way, good luck and remember this MLM business is supposed to be fun and not something we dread waking up to every day.

Most of us have come across the term attraction marketing and have no idea what it means or maybe know what it is but do not understand how it applies to marketing. On some occasion, marketing has been used to refer to selling which is defined as “the exchange of goods for an agreed sum of money.”

So generally Marketing can be understood as pertaining to selling your product or service more or less. While interpersonal attraction could mean “the attraction between people which leads to friendships and romantic relationships”.

Almost 8 years ago, a group Network Marketers named this kind of marketing “Relationship Marketing”. John Milton Fogg had published his popular book name “Get Rich Slow”, and “Relationship Marketing” at that time had a foundation on the book. Since marketing was becoming very well known on the internet, network marketers who knew about relationship marketing, used a “Face Page” and photos for their clients to know them. A Face page was just a web page designed so that you could easily describe yourself, your values and what you were passionate about.

So what then is attraction marketing? Attraction Marketing is simply selling whatever you have to offer mainly through building relationships with people. And, this is what Social Media is all about too – “building relationships with people” whether it be for business or pleasure. At this point you might be asking yourself how creating relationships is going to sell your products or services, you may want to ask, how really does attraction marketing make me money?

Attraction Marketing is all about providing education to your niche, and solving problems they have within that niche. When you solve someone’s problems for them, and show them you are an expert, they’ll want to purchase your products and/or become your business partner.

Attraction Marketing (New School) Strategies versus Old School Network Marketing Strategies is similar to one boxer in the Blue corner and the other in the Red corner. Old school network marketing (blue corner) has been around for many years and has been successfully used to build some of the biggest businesses in network marketing. Big leaders in companies such as Amway and Herbalife have credited Old School strategies for their incredible success and movie star lifestyle.

There are still people using old school strategies to build a huge business in network marketing and in my opinion, there always will be. The question is not which approach out of Old school and New school is better but which one is more duplicatable, or makes more sense to you and which one makes you the most money.

In his book “Cashflow Quadrant” Robert Kiyosaki, tells a short story told to him by his “rich dad” explaining the difference between working hard or working smart. In the story two entrepreneurs each set up a separate business to supply water to a village.

The first entrepreneur carries endless buckets of water to the village while the other guy goes away for six months, and returns with a team of people. The second guy then takes a further six months to build a pipeline to take water to the village.

When the second guy with the pipeline is finally ready, he offers better quality water, more frequently and for 75% less than his competitor. Of course the second guy did very well, which ties in with the two questions Robert asks himself before considering a new business venture. These questions are responsible for making Kiyosaki rich and wealthy.

The questions are:

1) Am I building a pipeline or hauling buckets?

2) Am I working hard or working smart?

These are the types of questions you should be asking yourself if you are looking at joining a Network Marketing business or wanting to improve your existing business.

Here Are Some Examples of Hauling Buckets in A Network Marketing Business:

* Cold calling leads in your network marketing business.
* Bugging family and friends, or anyone you meet using that old school term “three foot rule”.
* All the other old school traditional network marketing techniques like letterbox drops, pushing flyers into people’s hands at the local shopping mall, pitching the check out operators in the supermarket.

Let’s face it, who wants to do all that stuff? If you’re running your business without employing some sort of system and not using leverage you are definitely hauling buckets!

New School Attraction Marketing (red corner) has come about since the birth of the internet and the information age. Attraction marketing has given network marketers an alternative way to build their business, using the pipeline system (from Kiyosaki’s story) rather than carrying buckets.

Speaking of hauling buckets, and in all fairness to Old School marketing, there is a refreshing number of Network Marketing professionals who use other methods to build their business offline. They take a much more sophisticated approach to building their business than the Old School methods.

Rather than ambushing unsuspecting prospects at shopping malls and other places, they invite individual people who have asked for information (through a friend or whatever) to a coffee shop. Or, they have a small group of interested people get together at someone’s home and show them a short video, have a coffee and a few nibbles. This kind of building a network marketing business has been around for years, in the form of parties (as Tupperware have done very successfully for many years) and meetings.

This all very relaxed, no pressure on anyone, and from all reports it’s also a lot of fun.

The idea of Attraction Marketing is to generate qualified prospects for you to speak with, by providing them with information they are seeking out. You can offer your prospects an E-book or training that they could also teach to their team, or a video training course showing them how they can create their own qualified leads.

By doing this you are offering them something of value and giving them some training to evaluate without them having to make a commitment beforehand.

Attraction Marketing is totally opposite to the old school method of attempting to “sell” to anyone within a three foot circle regardless of whether they want it or not.

Other benefits of the new school method are:

* It allows you to “attract” people to your business rather than chasing people,
* It allows you to be abundant, rather than looking desperate,
* It allows you to keep control of your business, and
* You can keep your posture even when you are new.

Before the internet existed, there was little or no opportunity for people to research the validity of your company or products. It was difficult for prospects to compare your company with hundreds of other companies so they could choose the company that felt best for them.

However, as I mentioned before it’s up to the individual which corner (attraction marketing or old school) they want to come from. Either way, remember that owning a network marketing business is supposed to be fun and not something you dread waking up to every day.

This is Important and you need to know about it Right Away.

Last night Facebook staged one of the biggest virtual land grabs ever – the rush to own your own name on Facebook.com

Before this, if you wanted to send someone to your profile, you would have to figure out a URL looking something like this:

    www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=010101011

Wouldn’t you rather own www.facebook.com/yourname ?

But here’s the catch – it’s first come, first serve. If you have a common name, you might have missed out already.

Go right now to http://www.facebook.com

Log in and you will see a form that gives you several suggested usernames, and the ability to choose your own. Either choose one of the names suggested or type in your own.

If someone else already has your name, get creative – add a period, or a dash or shorten it, lengthen it or slap a number in there (just one) somewhere.

I already got my name at midnight, before going out. Sorry, that’s why I’m just letting you know now.

Hope you can get your name, it’s going to make a huge difference. It will come up in google really quick.

If you haven’t heard already, there’s an online Network Marketing community where you can learn everything you need to know about getting prospects to come to you. In addition, they teach you how to get paid while looking for prospects!

In this community, there are numerous step by step tutorials, showing you how exactly where to create content so prospects can find you. They even have a full blown copywriting course for you to learn how to write content that will attract people to you.
